Baku. 1 February. REPORT.AZ/ The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has reduced discount rate by 0.5 percentage point from 9.75% to 9.25%, CBA Chairman Elman Rustamov said at a press conference, Report informs.
On December 26, the CBA had made a decision to keep the parameters of the interest corridor unchanged. According to the decision, the interest rate was set at 9.75%, upper limit of the interest corridor at 11.75% and lower limit at 7.75% (at a ±2%-symmetric diapason).
