Azerbaijan produces nearly 3.4 tonnes of gold this year

Baku. 16 October. REPORT.AZ/ In January-September 2018, Azerbaijan produced 3,356.7 tonnes of gold, down 24.3% from the previous year, Report informs citing the State Statistical Committee.

According to the committee, as of October 1, 2018, the finished product made up 63 kg.

Silver production increased six-fold to 1,856.1 tonnes.

Azerbaijan produced 6,391 tonnes of gold in 2017, up 3.4-fold from 2016.
