Azerbaijan posts decline in deposit dollarization

Baku. 4 February. REPORT.AZ/ As of January 1, 2019, the dollarization level of savings of the Azerbaijani population in the banks constituted 62.48%, down 0.08 percentage point in comparison to a month ago, Report informs citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
This figure was 62.56% as of December 1, 2018, 63.54% as of November 1, 62.55% on October 1, 63.01% on September 1..
As of January 1, 2019, individual deposits in banks amounted to AZN 8,375,400,000, including AZN 5,233,200,000 in foreign currencies.
