AIA appoints an interim chairman

Baku. 13 March. REPORT.AZ/ Founders of Azerbaijan Insurers Association (AIA) have held a general meeting.

Report informs, AIA chairman Orkhan Bayramov has been dismissed from his position due to his election to the position of general secretary of Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs (ACE).

Vugar Aliyev was appointed as interim chairman of the AIA.

Notably, AIA is a non-government organization established in 2006. The institution operates based on Azerbaijani Constitutions, law “On non-governmental organizations”, other normative documents and its Regulations. All insurance organizations and “AzRe Tekrarsigorta” are members of the Association.
