Amount of prizes for Azerbaijani sportsmen who will win medals at II European Games announced

Awards for winners of medals at the 2nd European Games 2019 in Minsk have been disclosed, Vice President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) Chingiz Huseynzade said at the meeting with athletes and delegates participating in the race. He said that if no new decision is taken, it will be the same as the "Baku 2015" I European Games.

At the first European games, each athlete who won the 1st place was awarded a cash prize of AZN 150,000 (AZN 100,000 by order of the president + 50,000 from the NOC), his personal trainer - AZN 75,000 (AZN 50 000 AZN by order of the president + AZN 25 000 from the NOC), the winner of 2nd place - AZN 80,000 (AZN 50 000 by order of the president + 30 000 from NOC), AZN 40 000 for his personal trainer (AZN 25 000  by order of the president + AZN 15 000 from the NOC), winner of bronze medal - AZN 50 000 (AZN 30 000 by order of the president + AZN 20 000 from the NOC), his personal trainer - AZN 25 000 (AZN 15 000 by order of the president + AZN 10 000 from the NOC).

The 2nd European Games will be held on June 21-30 in the capital of Belarus, Minsk.
