Kazakhstan to reduce production in large fields

Within the OPEC+ decision to reduce the output by 9.7 million barrels per day in May-June, Kazakhstan is to cut the production by 390,000 barrels per day.
Report informs, citing Kazakh media, that the Energy Ministry said that the government is developing a draft decision to cut the oil production in May-June.
“The production in large fields will be reduced. The production from small and medium fields is expected to drop because of economic factors,” the ministry said.
