BTC oil transportation through Turkey ups about 20%

In June 2022, 17.665 million barrels of oil were transported through Turkiye via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, up 2,922,000 barrels or 19.8% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Turkish pipeline operator BOTAS.
In January-June 2022, the BTC pipeline pumped 107.117 million barrels of oil through Turkiye, a drop of 8,189,000 barrels or 8.28% from the first six months of 2021.
The BTC pipeline mainly carries oil from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) block of fields and condensate from Shah Deniz. Moreover, other crude oil and condensate volumes, including oil from Turkmenistan, Russia, and Kazakhstan, are transported through the BTC.
