Azerenergy gets 3% rise in energy production

Baku. 16 January. REPORT.AZ/ Azerenergy OJSC produced 22,521,000,000 kWh of energy in 2018, up 748 million kWh or 3.4% from 2017, company's spokesman Teymur Abdullayev told Report.

According to him, this figure is expected to increase by 1,029,000,000 kWh or 4.6% to $23,550,000,000 in 2019.

Abdullayev also noted that the OJSC imported 99.2 million kWh of energy, exported 1,413,200,000 kWh of energy in 2018. Import and export balance was 1,314,000,000 kWh.

Throughout the year, Azerbaijan exported 121,400,000 million of energy to Russia, 1,230,100,000 kWh to Georgia, 13,400,000 kWh to Turkey, 48,300,000 kWh to Iran.

In 2019 total energy export is expected at 1,500,000,000 kWh.
