Ministry of Education: Six-day schools will be open on January 19

Baku. 18 January. REPORT.AZ/ Classes in schools working on a six-day system will reopen on January 19 - Saturday in Azerbaijan, Report informs citing the Ministry of Education.

It was noted that the decree of the Education Minister Jeyhun Bayramov "On termination of educational process in educational institutions" is dated January 17-18: "The education process will continue in the ordinary way in the educational institutions".

Notably, Minister of Education Bayramov signed the order "On termination of educational process in educational institutions" in order to ensure execution of the decree dated January 16, 2019 of the Cabinet of Ministers. According to the decree, due to the severe weather conditions, the educational process was suspended in all educational institutions working on January 17 and 18 in the country, and all measures in this regard were postponed.
