Umayra Tagiyeva: "Wind is dying down in the territory of the country"

Baku. 18 January. REPORT.AZ/ "In Baku and Absheron peninsula today, temperature will rise by 4-5 degrees in comparison with previous days, and in the coming days the temperature will reach the climatological normal of January month," Umayra Tagiyeva, Director of the National Hydrometeorology Department at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, said at a briefing.
According to her, windy weather has died down in the country: "At present the wind speed does not exceed 16-20 m/s. The wave height in the open sea is between 3.6 and 5 meters. Strong wind will die down completely until the evening."
