Strong wind predicted in Azerbaijan - WARNING

Baku. 25 January. REPORT.AZ/ The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has issued a weather warning due to the expected strong wind.

Report informs citing the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry that the speed of the south-west wind is expected to reach 15-18, occasionally 20-25 m/s on January 27, while beginning from the second half of January 28, the north-west wind will blow at 15-20 m/s, sometimes strengthening to 23-28 m/s.

In Azerbaijani regions the weather will be occasionally rainy with rains to intensify in separate places on January 28 afternoon and on January 29. On January 27-29 the west wind speed is expected at 9-14 m/s in some regions and will strengthen to 23-28 m/s in some regions of the Kur valley.
