"Majority of our compatriots, who have been living as IDPs for almost 30 years, have reaffirmed their desire to return to their homeland through recent surveys," Rovshan Rzayev, Chairman of the State Committee for the Affairs of Refugees and IDPs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, said at the presentation of the book 'The road to victory in settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.'
According to him, the Great Return will be made voluntarily and safely: "Armenia's refusal to provide mine maps of the liberated territories for a long time is somewhat hampering the return. However, the Azerbaijani state is taking the necessary measures to ensure the safe return of its citizens to their native lands."
