'Ersnt & Young Azerbaijan': Customs officials create bureaucratic obstacles

Baku. 14 March.REPORT.AZ/ Regardless purpose and complexity of questions, duration of examination should be limited to 20 days in Azerbaijan. It will affect abuse and bureaucratic obstacles by customs officials.
Report was told by Arzu Hajiyeva, representative of 'Ersnt & Young Azerbaijan' company.
A.Hajiyeva stated Azerbaijani subcontracting companies have no right to get certificates of exemption of their customers from customs authorities.
Representative of 'E&Y Azerbaijan' company declared that goods are passed from scanner regardless of their type: 'You know, two - 'green' and 'red' corridors are available in airport. But for some reason, customs officials require all cargo to pass 'red line' scanner in airport'.
