Azerbaijan increases tea imports and exports

In January-April 2025, Azerbaijan imported 5,221 tons (1,644 tons or 46% more YoY) of tea for $31.828 million ($14.075 million or 79.2% more YoY), Report informs, citing the country's State Customs Committee.

The spending on tea imports accounted for 0.4% of Azerbaijan's total import costs.

During the first four months, Azerbaijan exported 224 tons (5 tons or 2.3% more YoY) of tea worth $1.973 million ($61,000 or 2.9% less YoY).

The revenue from tea exports accounted for 0.2% of Azerbaijan's total export revenues.
