Azerbaijan increases fruit and vegetable imports and exports

In January-April 2025, 198,838 tons (10,000 tons or 5.2% more YoY) of fruits and vegetables were imported to Azerbaijan for $142.72 million ($16.233 million or 12.8$ more YoY), Report informs, citing the country's State Customs Committee.

The spending on fruit and vegetable imports accounted for 1.75% of Azerbaijan's total import costs.

During the first four months of 2025, Azerbaijan exported 175,663 tons (26,126 tons or 17.4% more YoY) of fruits and vegetables worth $207.071 million ($26.767 million or 14.8% more YoY).

The income from fruit and vegetable exports accounted for 2.35% of Azerbaijan's total export revenues.
