Azerbaijan and Rostov Oblast strengthen cooperation

Azerbaijan and the Rostov region of Russia have signed cooperation agreements in several areas.

"Azerbaijan is interested in cooperation in the fields of industrial, agricultural and agro-industrial complexes. For now, Azerbaijan has developed cooperation with 70 regions of the Russian Federation. I think that we, together with the Rostov Oblast, can be a good example for others in the field of cooperation," Deputy Economy Minister Niyazi Safarov said at the signing ceremony.

According to him, the ten signed documents will form the basis of mutual interest and development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Rostov region.

The parties signed agreements on cooperation in several areas. These include documents on the attraction of tourists, creation of conditions and provision of appropriate services, training of staff for the digital economy, development of air communication, supplying agricultural equipment to Azerbaijan, cooperation between Azerbaijani and Rostov companies, as well as supplies of polypropylene, and others.
