Italian PM to receive German chancellor in Rome on June 8

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will visit Rome, according to the press service of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Report informs referring to TASS.

It is reported that she will receive him on June 8.

In addition, on the same day, the head of the Italian government planned a meeting with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Meloni will make a brief official visit to Tunisia on June 6. The day before, she held a telephone conversation with Tunisian President Kais Saied, in which she emphasized Rome’s support in its negotiations with the IMF on a loan, and also discussed the topic of migrants and cooperation in the energy sector.
