Argentina exceeds 2 million coronavirus cases

Over the past day, the total number of coronavirus cases in Argentina increased by 7,739 to 2,001,034, Report informs, citing the Twitter account of Argentina's Health Ministry.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the novel coronavirus has claimed 49,674 lives nationwide.
On December 31, 2019, Chinese authorities announced an outbreak of pneumonia in Wuhan, and the causative agent is a new type of coronavirus officially named COVID-19.
On March 11, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the new coronavirus outbreak a pandemic.
