Turkish schoolchildren have written a letter to President Ilham Aliyev, in which they expressed their joy on the occasion of the liberation of Karabakh and wished to visit these lands someday, Report informs.
The letter was immediately responded.
On the instructions of the head of state, the 4th grade students of the Guzeykent primary school in Turkiye’s Kastamonu, who wrote a letter addressed to the president, were invited to Azerbaijan. They visited Azerbaijan and a number of places, including Fuzuli and Shusha.
Schoolchildren said they were impressed by a letter written by an American child to Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and wanted to write a letter to one of the heads of state. After consulting with the whole class, they decided to write to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. In the letter, they also talked about the self-dedication of Azerbaijani firefighters in preventing forest fires in Turkiye. The school visit will end tomorrow.
