Baku Transport Agency (BTA) continues measures to foster a good pedestrian atmosphere and safety on roads.
The agency has begun installing flashing yellow lights at unregulated pedestrian crossings in Baku. Those signals are used to warn of pedestrian crossings and create a general awareness of pedestrians.
At the initial stage, it is planned to install flashing lights at 100 unregulated pedestrian crossings. Works have been completed on M. Mehdizade and S. Orujov streets.
