Rating of safest cars in the world disclosed

Baku. 11 January. REPORT.AZ/ The European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) defined the safest car in 2017.

Report informs referring to the foreign media, as a result of assessment, the best cars have been selected in six categories. The representative of Euro NCAP said about 70 new and upgraded car models participated in the tests. The assessment was based on the safety of passengers (including children) and pedestrians.

Volskwagen Arteon was selected the safest car of premium class.

Volvo XC60 model won the category of compact crossover, Volkswagen T-ROC become the winner of the test in mini crossover category.

Volkswagen Polo took the first place in B class (small cars), Opel Crossland X was the winner of compact category.

Subaru Impreza and Subaru XV were chosen the safest family car models.
