Putin offers organizing sports competitions between member countries of SCO

Russian President Vladimir Putin offered to create sports associations under the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Report informs.

Putin said there are good opportunities to activate cooperation in this direction and to hold large sports events organized by the SCO.

The organization's member countries are Russia, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, with Afghanistan, Belarus, Iran, and Mongolia acting as observers this year. Partner countries are Azerbaijan, Armenia, Cambodia, Nepal, Turkiye, and Sri Lanka.
