20-hectare forest area burns in Aghdam

The "112" hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information that a fire broke out in a hilly-forest area with complex terrain near the village of Jinli, Aghdam region, Report informs.
The relevant forces of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry and the Karabakh Regional Center were immediately involved in the area.
Thanks to the implemented operational measures, the fire was extinguished in a short time and was not allowed to spread over a large area.
As a result of the fire, approximately 40 hectares of bushes and dry grass and 20 hectares of forest area burned down. Dense forest was protected from catching fire.
