The Russian-Ukrainian war has a serious impact on regional relations, Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration, said at the 12th Global Baku Forum, Report informs.
Hajiyev said, currently, certain events are also taking place in the Middle East, which is geographically close to Azerbaijan.
“Strengthening Central Asian-Azerbaijani relations is one of the priorities of our foreign policy. The Organization of Turkic States is also a new reality in the region. Also, currently, Georgian-Azerbaijani relations are an example in terms of neighborly relations,” he added.
