Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov has left a note in the Book of Condolences opened at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Astana regarding the numerous human casualties resulting from the AZAL airline plane crash near Aktau, Report informs referring to the press service of the prime minister of Kazakhstan.

"At this difficult time, on behalf of the Government of Kazakhstan and personally, I express my deep condolences to the families and relatives of the deceased. Sharing the pain of loss, I wish a speedy recovery to those injured in the plane crash, and patience and resilience to the Azerbaijani people. We will provide appropriate assistance and comprehensive support to brotherly Azerbaijan," Bektenov wrote.

The memory of the deceased was also honored with a minute of silence. The head of Kazakhstan's government had previously expressed condolences to the relatives of the deceased Kazakhstanis and ordered to provide full support to all affected citizens of Azerbaijan, Russia, and Kyrgyzstan.

"Necessary assistance is being provided to the family members of the deceased passengers arriving in Aktau city," reads the report.
