President Ilham Aliyev says Azerbaijan demands compensation from Armenia

"The world must be informed about the Armenian barbarism. This should be punished. We punished them during the war in such a way that they will never forget it, but the aggressor must also be punished at the international level," President Ilham Aliyev said during a meeting with Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat) Maimunah Mohd Sharif on March 5, Report informs.

"Of course, there is the issue of compensation. We demand compensation. We have already involved international institutions and legal groups in helping us raise this issue in the international arena. So that's the plan. For next year's program, we must adapt our cooperation to this important reality," the head of state said.
