"Ali Asadov is a professional who over the years has proved his loyalty to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the Azerbaijani people and, no doubt, will worthily help Ilham Aliyev in economic terms to continue the work of Heydar Aliyev, the founder of the modern Azerbaijani state," Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Leonid Slutsky told Report.

"We, the people who live with Azerbaijan in the heart, remain in close contact with the team of the president of the country, and we hope that everything will be as progressive and efficient as it has been to this day. We want to wish the new Prime Minister good luck, success and effective management of the most serious tasks entrusted to the President. We wish the new team of the cabinet also every success," Slutsky concluded.
