Azerbaijan is ready for peace and a new beginning with Armenia, Ambassador to Germany Nasimi Aghayev wrote on X, Report informs.
“Azerbaijani people have endured immense suffering, from the genocidal invasion of our lands by Armenia and forced displacement of 1 million Azerbaijanis in the early ‘90s, through 30 years of brutal and barbaric occupation, to Armenia’s deadly strikes on civilians in 2020 and so on. Yet we are ready for peace and a new beginning with Armenia. We want ethnic Armenians to live peacefully and thrive in Garabagh, enjoying all their rights as equal citizens of Azerbaijan. Peace is possible, coexistence is possible,” the Ambassador said.
