Head of well-known Russian TV channel is Azerbaijani

Baku. 10 December.REPORT.AZ/ The head of "Nash football" TV channel, Ilya Gerkus in Russia is Azerbaijani. Report informs, General Secretary of AFFA, Elkhan Mammadov stated to journalists.
According to him, I.Gerkus was invited to AFFA for talks three months ago. During the conversation, he also said that he is Azerbaijani: "Ilya said that, his real name is Ilham. 16 years ago he moved to Moscow. He is called as Ilya in Russia."
E.Mammadov noted that we should take advantage of this opportunity: "The head of this famous TV channel is Azerbaijani. Why not to invite him again for talks?!"
