Presentation of new banknotes was held in Russia

Baku. 12 October. REPORT.AZ/ Bank of Russia (Central Bank) has today introduced new banknotes with a par value of 200 and 2 000 rubles.
Report informs citing the Vesti.ru, the design of new banknotes was chosen at the All-Russian competition. As a result, the Far East and Sevastopol became winners. Vostochny spaceport and the bridge to Russky Island will be depicted on 2,000 ruble note, and the Tauric Chersonesos and the monument to the flooded ships on the 200 ruble note.
New notes will be released this year. According to Interfax, new technologies used in the production of banknotes - they are impregnated with a special polymer to increase the service life.
