ING: Azerbaijan's Central Bank to start tightening monetary policy in Q3 2026

Dutch company ING Group predicts that the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) will begin tightening its monetary policy in the third quarter of 2026, Report informs via ING Group.
According to the group's forecasts, the CBA will keep the discount rate at 7.25% until the end of 2025.
ING forecasts that the discount rate will be raised to 7.5% in the third quarter of next year, and to 7.75% in the fourth quarter.
On January 22, the CBA Board decided to maintain the discount rate at 7.25% for the sixth consecutive time.
