CBA earned $164M from assets management in 2019

Currency reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) were managed on the principles of security, liquidity, and profitability in 2019. The main direction of the annual investment program was conservatively maximization of profitability, Report informs, citing the CBA.
According to the information, the CBA currency reserves were managed by investing in USD< EUR, GBP, liquid, and high-level state and corporate bond liabilities. As at the end of the reporting period, 91% of currency reserves were in USD, 4% in EUR< 2% in GBP, 3% in SDR.
In the reporting period, the CBA currency reserves increased by $629 million to $6.3 billion. Revenues from assets management amounted to $163.9 million.
