SOCAR Türkiye reveals its plans for reducing carbon emissions

The goal of SOCAR Türkiye, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan in Türkiye, is to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, Elchin Ibadov, acting chief executive officer of SOCAR Türkiye company, said at the press conference held today, Report informs.
According to him, one of the company's goals is to reduce carbon emissions and air emissions by 40% in 2035.
Ibadov said that SOCAR Türkiye aims to bring these indicators to 0% by 2050.
