SOCAR increases oil exports by nearly 28%

During January-February of this year, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 1.3 million tons of oil, the same as in the first two months of 2022, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Energy.
SOCAR exported 305,000 tons of oil, 66,000 tons or 27.6% more than the previous year.
In January-February 2023, 5.1 million tons of oil (including condensate) were produced across the country, down 0.4 million tons or 7.3% from the previous year.
Azerbaijan exported 4.1 million tons of oil (including condensate) in the reporting period, 0.3 million tons or 6.8% less than a year earlier.
Nearly 3.8 million tons of exported oil fell to the share of the Azerbaijan International Operating Company, 0.4 million tons or 9.5% less than a year ago. .
