Hikmat Hajiyev: "Our main goal is to ensure the safe return of population to liberated areas"

"Currently, there are mines instead of trees in the liberated areas. Of course, the Azerbaijani government will do the opposite. It will clear mines and plant trees there," Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President, Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, said.

Report quotes him as saying the Azerbaijani government will use a multilateral approach here.

"There are four main directions. Our main goal is to ensure the safe return of the population to the region. At present, the number of mine victims is close to 200 people," Hikmat Hajiyev said.
