EU envoy: Middle Corridor very relevant now

About 400 European companies operate in Azerbaijan, Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Peter Michalko told journalists, Report informs.

Investors are actively getting acquainted with the business environment of Azerbaijan, the potential for cooperation in this area is huge, the ambassador added.

He noted that the Middle Corridor project is very relevant now and is a good opportunity to strengthen ties between the countries.

In this vein, it is also important to consider security in the region, he added.

The ambassador also noted that the EU is preparing a business report on the investment climate in Azerbaijan.
