Shahdag Mountain Resort to host international competitions

Shahdag Mountain Resort will host international competitions in 2025, Rustam Najafov, Chairman of Shahdag Mountain Resort CJSC, said at a press conference dedicated to the tourism results of 2024 and the opening of the winter season, co-organized by the State Tourism Agency, Report informs.

Najafov emphasized that infrastructure projects implemented as part of winter season preparations have been completed and modernization work has been carried out according to modern standards: "Hotels, cable car lines, and various winter entertainment facilities located in the complex have been made fully ready. The quality of attractions offered to guests has been improved, and the highest service standards have been ensured for tourists' recreation."

The chairman also noted that thanks to successful promotion campaigns in international markets, there has been a significant increase in the number of visitors to the complex.

Najafov pointed out that "as a result of large-scale promotion campaigns carried out in international markets in recent years, the number of tourists visiting Shahdag Mountain Resort has increased significantly, and the geography of tourists has also expanded."

He indicated that implementing more international events, implementing new tourism projects, and promoting the complex globally are among the main priorities for the future.
