Minister reveals main goals for employment of jobless persons

Next year, support measures should be taken for young people's entry into the labor market, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Sahil Babayev said at the Azerbaijan Career Development Forum, Report informs.

According to him, although the gap between women's and men's wages has begun to fade, it is still not fully settled:

"Therefore, this issue must be resolved. Involving women in employment services should be increased. Our main goal is to develop a new employment concept in the country. Emphasis will be placed on hiring jobless people by creating an individual employment plan. The implementation of these mechanisms has already begun. We aim to employ at least half of the active people, and we are working with the relevant agencies in this area."
