Ukrainian MP: Azerbaijan succesfully manages to protect independence and statehood

It is important to protect independence and statehood, which Azerbaijan manages successfully, former speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Mp Dmytro Razumkov, said in a statement to Report.

According to Razumkov, Ukraine is fighting for its independence and statehood:

"That is why the support we receive from both Baku and the Azerbaijani people is important for us. I wish Azerbaijan continuous prosperity. Modern Azerbaijan has achieved a lot. I am sure that there is still a long way to go, which needs to be overcome and all the goals set before the Azerbaijani people and state are achieved."

The MP noted that Ukraine highly appreciates the assistance it receives from Azerbaijan today.

"I hope this will be preserved and that we will be able to further enhance good relations, both between people and in parallel, in all areas. You have a quite strong economy, serious opportunities, and I am sure that we can become true friends and partners in economic terms for the sake of the well-being of our states," he emphasized.
