The roads leading to Kyiv are secure, Russian troops won’t enter the capital, the Public Relations Service of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wrote on Facebook page, Report informs citing UNIAN.

In particular, the commander of the defense of Kyiv - commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi checked the defense on the northwestern approaches to the capital in the village of Moshchun.

“For more than 12 days, the enemy has been unsuccessfully trying to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian defenders in this direction. Fierce battles with the Russian occupation troops continue here both day and night. The aggressor suffers heavy losses in equipment and manpower,” the report says.

After talking with the Ukrainian military, Syrskyi noted that the Ukrainian defenders are ready to protect their Motherland.

In addition, the morale of the Ukrainian defenders is at a high level.
