Russia sees over 168,000 new COVID cases

The number of hospitalizations related to coronavirus in Russia over the past day has amounted to 17,798, which is 0.03% higher than the previous day, Report informs referring to the Operational Headquarters.

It increased in 44 regions. On February 3, the number of hospitalizations was 17,792. In 41 regions, the number of hospitalizations has decreased.

The spread of the omicron variant is currently recorded in 83 subjects of the country.

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Russia has increased by 168,201 over the past day, to 12,452,765. In relative terms, the increase in the number of cases was 1.37%.

Over the past day, 58,449 people have been discharged from hospitals in Russia, which is 8.8% more than on February 3.

The number of COVID-related deaths has increased by 682 over the past day, to 334,039. On February 3, as many as 667 deaths were registered.
