Money transfers from Azerbaijan to Georgia increase by 28%

In September 2019, $2 million was transferred from Azerbaijan to Georgia, up 28% from a year earlier, Report’s Georgian bureau informs citing the National Bank.

Azerbaijan's share in total money transfers to Georgia amounted to 1.34%.

Money transfer from foreign countries to Georgia soared by 13.9% or $18.3 million to $149.8 million.

A total of $20.5 million was transferred from Georgia to foreign countries, up 6.5% from the previous year.
