Japanese Cabinet Secretary General: Zelenskyy will take part in opening of online meeting of G7 leaders

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will take part in the opening of the online meeting of the G7 leaders, which is scheduled for February 24, Secretary General of the Japanese Cabinet of Ministers Hirokazu Matsuno said. Japan is chairing the G7 this year.

"President of Ukraine [Vladimir] Zelenskyy is expected to take part at the beginning of the meeting," Matsuno said. He expressed confidence that the topic of the situation in Ukraine would become dominant in the negotiations of the G7 leaders, but refrained from disclosing any details of the agenda of the upcoming online meeting.
