Armenia's COVID-19 tally exceeds 43 thousand

Armenia confirmed 131 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the nationwide case tally to 43 067, Report says, citing RIA Novosti.
According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health, the death toll reached 861, as three others fell victim to the virus. So far, 36,726 people have recovered from the infection.
At present, 5,216 active coronavirus patients in Armenia.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province, and the virus has spread to over 200 countries and territories since then.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
