US: Daily COVID-19 cases surpass 35 thousand

Over 35 thousand have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in 50 US states over the past 24 hours, while 445 people died, Report says, citing RIA Novosti.
According to Johns Hopkins University, the US confirmed 35, 112 new coronavirus cases over the past day. Yesterday, the US reported 42,048 cases and 571 deaths.
So far, 5 444 115, people have contracted COVID-19 in the United States, resulting in 170, 559 deaths.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province, and the virus has spread to more than 200 countries and territories since then.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic
