China urges US, Iran to restore safe navigation in Strait of Hormuz

China has called on the United States and Iran to restore the safe movement of ships in the Strait of Hormuz, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated during a briefing, Report informs via Xinhua.
He noted that "the early restoration of normal and safe navigation through the strait is the common aspiration of the international community. Beijing will make tireless efforts to contribute to de-escalation of the situation."
