Baku. 12 October. REPORT.AZ/ Deputy Speaker of Milli Majlis Valeh Alasgarov and MP Kamran Bayramov will visit Switzerland on 14-17 October to attend the 139th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
Report informs citing the press service of the Parliament that the meeting to be held in Geneva will focus on "Technology change and the role of parliaments in promoting peace and development in the innovation era" at the meeting in Geneva, the parliament's press service told the report.
Within the framework of the Assembly, meetings and debates of the Standing Committees on Sustainable Development and Trade, Democracy and Human Rights, Peace and International Security, UN issues will be held.
Deputy Chairman of the Milli Majlis Valeh Alasgarov is expected to meet with Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Martin Chungong.
The Forum of Young Parliamentarians will be held during the visit. MP Kamran Bayramov will take part in the forum.
