No threat to Azerbaijani peacekeepers' lives at Kabul airport, Defense Ministry says

No tension is currently observed in the sector of the Kabul international airport guarded and defended by Azerbaijani peacekeepers, Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Report informs that, according to the statement, there is currently no threat to Azerbaijani peacekeepers' lives.

"Notwithstanding the tensions in the region, the 120-strong peacekeeping contingent of the Azerbaijani army continues to fulfill its tasks to ensure the airport security together with the Turkish troops," the ministry said in a statement.
