Minister of Defense of China to visit Azerbaijan

On 14 June, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China, Wei Jinghua, who is completing his diplomatic mission in our country, Report informs citing the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan.

The Minister of Defense noting that military cooperation between Azerbaijan and China is developing as well as in other areas, expressed confidence in its further continuation.

Colonel General Hasanov expressing gratitude to the ambassador for his efforts in expanding military relations between Azerbaijan and China over the period of the diplomatic mission in our country wished him success in his future activity.

The diplomat, in turn, noted that he is parting with our country with good impressions and will forever remain a sincere friend of the Azerbaijani state and people.

During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on cooperation in the military, military-technical and military-educational fields, including the planned visit of the Minister of Defense of China to Azerbaijan.
