"Koryun Gumashyan was remanded in custody by a court decision and placed on the international wanted list under Articles 120.2.1 (deliberate murder committed by a group of persons, on preliminary arrangement by group of persons, by an organized group or criminal community (organization); 120.2.7 (deliberate murder of two or more persons); 120.2.12 (deliberate murder on the motive of national, racial, religious hatred or enmity) and other articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan," said Deputy Prosecutor General - Military Prosecutor of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant General of Justice Khanlar Valiyev.

"All necessary and institutional measures are being taken to bring to justice and punish the servicemen of the occupying country under international law on criminal cases initiated by Armenian military units for provocations, killing our servicemen and civilians, or inflicting grievous bodily harm on their health and other criminal acts," he stressed.
